Haviva Yesgat is a litigation attorney, whose practice mainly focuses on civil litigation and family law. She assists clients in ensuring that their interests are well represented at all stages of their legal proceedings.
Before joining the firm’s litigation team, Haviva was an intern in comparative law for the Global Legal Research Directorate at the Law Library of Congress in Washington D.C., and supported Montreal-based startups through her work at a startup accelerator.
Prior to studying law, Haviva graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, majoring in marketing. She then completed her studies in law at Université de Montréal, where she represented the university at a national moot court competition in Toronto.
Haviva is fluent in English, French, Hebrew and Amharic.
