Barry D. Stein practices in the fields of corporate & commercial law and mergers & acquisitions. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to litigation in health administrative and labor law.

Barry has served for many consecutive years on the Board of Directors of several Canadian corporations and foundations and presently is the president of Colorectal Cancer Canada.

He actively represents the interests of patients and speaks regularly to health professionals, industry and governments across Canada and internationally on health technology assessment, drug approval, cancer and other health related matters. His Superior Court of Quebec case in 1999, serves as a leading precedent in Canada for the reimbursement of out-of-country health care.
